History

Our story begins when Marjorie Duncan-Forleh visited Liberia in 2018.

The Forleh Foundation was founded after the numerous humanitarian projects achieved by Marjorie Duncan-Forleh since December 2018. In July 2023, the Forleh Foundation was registered as a non-profit organization in the state of Maryland. The organization was founded due to Marjorie’s passion to give back to others. The organization supports schools and orphanages in underprivileged communities in Liberia to strengthen disadvantaged students by improving their self-esteem, expanding their thought process, and creating an avenue of success in their learning environment.
Through the collaborative efforts of Liberians and others around the world, we strive to strengthen communities and enhance the quality of education. We have donated school supplies, clothes, hygiene products, laptops, and other resources to various schools and orphanages in Liberia. Our focus is educating girls because when you “educate a girl, you educate a nation.”
